July 13, 2019, is the 14th year for the Flea Market at the West Woods (also known in the past as “Treasures Among the Trees”). The Geauga County Ohio Horseman’s Council has been hosting it for the last few years. The event is held in the Turkey Ridge and Deer Run shelters and the parking lot in between these shelters at the back end of the West Woods Park of the Geauga Park District.
Last year we had about 50 vendors and a great turnout of customers throughout the day. There is typically at least one vendor selling hotdogs, water, and treats. The event is held rain or shine. Your fee, once sent, is non-refundable and we thank you for your donation to the Foundation for the Geauga Parks Bridle Trail Fund and Geauga County Ohio Horseman's Council. Any funds you collect during the day are yours to keep.
The picnic tables are within the shelters. They are rectangular and have benches attached on both sides. There is one octagon table in each shelter as well. Let me know if you prefer the octagon table. Same price. You get one table for the price of $15. After set-up and before the start of the market, cars need to be moved and parked in other lots within the park. There is not room for picnic table vendors to keep their cars in the market area.
Handicap spots are also available however we need to be careful to not fill them with vendor’s cars so that customers needing them can use them.
We would like to avoid cars on the grass, especially in the early morning when the grass is wet.
For $25, you receive 2 parking lot spaces. There are no tables or tents provided. You are welcome to set up a tent as long as it is within your 2 parking lot spaces. Some people chose to keep their car within the 2 parking lot spaces. If not, cars need to be moved to the other parking lot areas in the park.

Most correspondence regarding confirmation and details regarding the day of the event is done via email. Mailed confirmations are not sent. If you do not have email, then a representative will call you to provide your confirmation and provide details regarding the day.
This event is held rain or shine. Fortunately the last couple of years have seen good weather.
